About the Session

Key elements include:

  • Choice-based movement: All postures are intentional, invitational, with multiple options offered to meet different needs.

  • Breathwork and grounding: Practices calm the nervous system and support emotional regulation; creating more space between stimulus and response, creating stronger neurological pathways to consistently choose healthy habits.

  • Mind-body connection: Gentle strengthening, stretching, and relaxation to restore balance and encourage self-trust. Self-awareness is key for a new lifestyle. Yoga in this framework serves as physical support relation of self to the external world.

  • Accessibility: No prior yoga experience is necessary; practices can be adapted to any ability level. Previous injuries, all ages, sizes, religious beliefs are welcome to this ancient practice.

Shanté's  intention is to create a supportive environment where participants can reconnect with their bodies, build resilience, and deepen their capacity for self-care as part of their recovery journey.
